ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

FERULIC ACID (0.5%)
Antioxidant of plant origin, derived from hydroxycinnamic acid which, thanks to its high antioxidant power, is able to neutralize free radicals responsible for oxidative stress in cell membranes and DNA. It helps to avoid damage caused by ultraviolet radiation and prevent photoaging. In addition, by blocking radiation, it helps to avoid dehydration of the skin.

Astaxanthin (0.01%)
Natural carotenoid derived from the microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis, one of the most powerful antioxidants known. It is worth mentioning its ability to encompass all the lipid bilayers of the cell membrane, providing protection from the inside. It helps improve elasticity by preserving and strengthening the collagen layer. It contributes to reducing the size of wrinkles by softening the microtexture of the skin. In addition, it revitalizes photoaged skin by trapping free radicals.

HYALURONIC ACID with low molecular weight (0.3%)
HYALURONIC ACID is a mucopolysaccharide (glycosaminoglycan) found in all body tissues and mainly in the superficial layers of the skin, joints and blood vessels, among others. It is produced by the body naturally and is able to hold a large amount of water by creating hydrogen bridges. Thanks to this, the skin's collagen can be effectively hydrated, helping to improve elasticity and helping to increase density. The high hygroscopicity inherent in the chemical structure of HYALURONIC ACID allows it to acquire a real "water reservoir" effect, which contributes to obtaining and maintaining effective hydration of the skin. Moreover, it is involved in the process of cell proliferation, regeneration and the formation of new vessels. Its molecular weight is between 15kDa and 50kDa, which allows it to penetrate the skin, so it acts directly on the epidermis and even reaches the dermis, regulating hydration and helping to increase skin firmness.

VITAMIN C (L-ASCORBIC) (10%)
L-ASCORBIC ACID is an essential micronutrient required for all biological functions, including enzymatic and antioxidant functions. Its effect occurs through various synergistic pathways. It is an important ally in the skin regeneration process, as it contributes to collagen synthesis by intervening in the transformation process of proline and hydroxyproline (lysyl and prolyl hydroxylase enzymes), being an essential component. In addition, it neutralizes free radicals and regenerates VITAMIN E, both of which are functions that lead to a decrease in the formation of lipid peroxides (substances that come from the aging process of the skin). It brightens, evens tone and clears photoaged skin, as it inhibits tyrosinase and therefore melanogenesis.
VITAMIN C is limited to physiological pH.

VITAMIN E (alpha-tocopherol) (0.5%)
One of the most important VITAMINS for radiant skin. It acts as a natural barrier to protect the skin from the sun's rays. It is a biological antioxidant that protects cell membranes, avoiding their oxidation and the harmful effect of free radicals formed by light. Thanks to this effect against free radicals and its moisturizing properties, it helps to fight aging, improving the elasticity and appearance of the skin. In addition, it avoids the oxidation of essential fatty acids and other vitamins necessary for the skin, such as vitamin A, stimulating their effect. It helps to remove small pimples and light-resistant scars.
