COSMETIC ACTION:

1. BLEACHING EFFECT
The combination of the different active ingredients, such as hexylresorcinol, licorice extract, arbutin, tranexamic acid and niacinamide, allows this serum to act on any point of the melanin synthesis process, i.e. it acts from the beginning, preventing the formation of free radicals and peroxidation lipids that stimulate the onset of melanogenesis, until the last steps, for example the migration of keratinocytes to the most superficial layers of the skin.

2. ANTI-AGING ACTION
The specific selection of active ingredients allows to achieve anti-aging effects.
Hexylresorcinol prevents the continued development of any signs of aging such as wrinkles, fine lines or sagging, tranexamic acid repairs free radical damage to cellular DNA, and ferulic acid and licorice extract have antioxidant effects. Thus we obtain a global action to eliminate and neutralize free radicals and their effects on the skin.


ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:

HEXYLRESORCINOL (1%)
Phenolic lipids with depigmentation and anti-aging capacity.
As an inhibitor of photoaging processes, it is able to protect collagen and structural proteins against glycation processes.
These aging processes are irreversible, but with the help of this active substance we protect structural proteins and inhibit the development of harmful processes. In addition, it improves DNA repair processes.
On the other hand, it effectively inhibits the production of melanin, with a higher efficiency than hydroquinone.
This dual result makes it a key ingredient for skin brightening, anti-aging, protection and evening out skin tone.

ARBUTIN (4%)
Hydroquinone glucoside, obtained by chemical synthesis, is structurally very similar to tyrosinase, so it acts as a competitive inhibitor in the oxidation process from tyrosine to melanin.
It depigments and reduces the formation of age spots, freckles and pigmented lesions.

TRANEXAMIC ACID (1%)
Active inhibitor of melanin formation, able to whiten and avoid pigmentation of any etiology: sunspots, acne, inflammation, "circulatory melasma", etc.
It helps repair skin damaged by UVA / UVB rays, pollution or other environmental factors. Suitable for all skin types, removes pigmentation, whitens the skin and reduces the visibility of spots.

FERULIC ACID (0.5%)
Antioxidant of vegetable origin derived from hydroxycinnamic acid.
Its antioxidant effect is able to neutralize free radicals responsible for oxidative stress in cell membranes and DNA.
It helps to avoid damage caused by ultraviolet radiation and prevent photoaging. In addition, by blocking radiation, it prevents dehydration of the skin.

NIACINAMIDE (1%)
Also called nicotinamide, it is part of the group of water-soluble B vitamins.
Its main function is the prevention and treatment of hyperpigmentation caused by vitamin B deficiency. It prevents melanin from migrating from inside melanocytes to melanosomes. In addition, it has sebum-regulating properties.

LICORICE EXTRACT (0.1%)
It has different actions:
- Depigmentation. It is a strong natural inhibitor of tyrosinase, which also exerts a synergistic effect with the rest of the active depigmenting ingredients in the formula.
